In autumn 2002 I attended a Prostejov cat exhibition and I saw the Maine coon for the first time in my life. They absolutely enchanted me and my vision about my first cat thus got a clear shape.
In May 2003 there were born babies in Olomouc and I was lucky that one was
devoted to me. The end of summer was marked by zealous preparations for the
first cat to come into our place.
Artusek didn’t disappoint me at all, as a kitten he was nice and obedient and he
has grown up into a beautiful and pretty tomcat.
I every time feel free enough to comb and bath him or to cut his claws. He is literally being attracted into a bathroom, likes to reach his paw into water and splash about or he directly go in and poke around like a horse. In this case I forgive him even messed bathroom and wet footmarks all over the place. He is extremely curious and always assists me when doing various chores. Artusek became father of our first two litters, out of which beautiful and strong kittens were born. Now he is enjoying his well-earned retirement as a castrate. Thanks to his robustness and power he is still sovereign leader of the entire cat harem. Many thanks to Alena Grossmannová for such a great boy!
